I have made it clear who I am voting for, however I believe in preparing for all outcomes

If HRC wins, I want to continue doing what I can to defend our gun rights. Even if this means resorting to unsavory tactics to ensure that people have access to weapons.

I want to become more involving in guns rights advocacy, and if any of you know a good first step to take, I am all ears. I have even considered joining the NRA.

The 2nd amendment is in danger, and if it comes down to taking arms to defend it... I will.

Like selling illegal firearms?

You know what they say, only criminals need guns.

If the bitch wins, I am getting a gun, joining NRA, etc. things I never before considered doing.

I'm 100% for gun rights but just remember this the NRA ultimately benefits from democrats trying to pass legislation to restrict or remove access I'd try to find a less business like group for advocacy. I only say this because they at the top no doubt want a democrat due to it being the most beneficial to their income.

You should have joined the NRA years ago if you really believe in the 2nd Amendment.

We do, we have the SAF (Second Amendment Foundation) and the GOA (Gun Owners of America)

GOA is VERY active and if I would be asked to join one of the 3, it would be GOA, SAF and then the NRA in that order.

Good options bayou Bengal. I have complaints about the NRA because they're disgustingly profitable and their business model benefits from selling fear rather than promoting the constitution.

Is this the only thread you've ever started that hasn't been downvoted?

Your candidate supports stopping and frisking people who are not suspected of committing a crime... frick you for invoking the constitution to prop up your a-hole candidate.

Much like HRC's email scandal, I am just going to let your comment linger out there for the prima facia stupidity it represents.

I find GOA better. Also, defending the 2nd Amendment doesnt just mean keeping what we have already, we should keep trying to tear apart the NFA.

Thank you, I have let my NRA membership lapse. They became too aggressive on fund raising. Seemed like non stop.

Whatever 2A group you join remember this - never support any legislation that throws a class of gun owners or firearms under the bus. It took the NRA years to recover after the disasterous 1986 Fopa and some of us still have issues with it.

Gun control organizations aren't stupid. Divide and conquer as a means to an end is what they do. I've seen it time and time again.
