First off this series was amazing. Haven't gotten info a series so much since ASOIF. What are some high fantasy series like Mistborn that aren't way out there and that are fairly easy to get into?

The First Law Series or the Red Rising Series.
ETA: I listened to the audiobooks for both. Absolutely amazing.

It doesn't fit your description - but Malazan is the best one you will find

WHy not start reading the Wax and Wayne Mistborn series.
I actually like it more than the original series in a lot of ways.
But other series:
The Gentleman Bastard sequence by Scott Lynch (Lies of Locke Lamora)
The Kingkiller Chronicles by Rothfuss (Name of the Wind)

I'm on the first book of Malazan. I had heard that it is challenging, non-traditional, and a chore to get through.
Boy were they right. Jesus, what a slog.

The Lies of Locke Lamora. Very underrated. Liked them better than Mistborn
