Can the OB find some 243 WSSM rounds?

Had a co worker ask me about these this morning. He is looking for a friend that has a rifle for it but I dont think they make rounds for it anymore and are kinda hard to find. Was wondering if any of you OB gurus could find some or have some that are not 3-400 a box. TIA

my suggestion, buy a set of Hornady dies for $35 and he can reload using fired brass
new WSSM brass is only produced once a year and hard to find
he'd be better off reloading (or having a friend reload for him) so he won't have to spend $50-75 on a box of 20 rds.
Cost per round will be around $1.44 with new brass ,
once fired brass will cost him around .73 cents per round or $14.60 box of 20 rds

I have a .243WSSM, and it is an awesome little rifle. Ammo is pretty much unobtainable though. Hate that I am going to have to replace it, but at this point, buying a new gun would be cheaper than buying ammo for this one.

I would call all the small, local outdoor stores in your area. Those places might have ammo that is years old that is just kind of forgotten about and overlooked.
I bought some 375 power shok a couple weeks ago for $40 a box. They were just happy to get rid of them. The ammo is out there, you just have to work for it.

This. I've had success finding hard to find ammo in little mom and pop gun and outdoor shops outside of major metro areas. They stocked up on it at on time when maybe the round was more popular and now it's just collecting dust.
