I think we have all seen Ingram fall after the slightest of touches in his career to not say he is a hell of a lot better than anyone.

This.
Ingram is an average NFL running back, at best. Where Hill ranks is still up in the air, IMHO.

Ingram is #9 in yards this season on a pass pass pass pass first offense. Please tell me how he is average.

Manning was not coming here.
Brady wasn't even good enough to start at Michigan over Griese
I feel like I recall them recruiting Brees, but did not put a ton of effort into it (was just starting to follow college ball then).
They may have overlooked Rodgers.

None of those guys would have played under Les, so your comparison to the current system is dumb. Furthermore, almost every delay of game penalty is on the coaching staff. If you watch Harris between plays (when the camera is on him) you can see he is standing outside of the huddle waiting for the play call. There have even been times where he was getting anxious w/ less than 15 seconds on the clock because he still did not have the play. Then, he has to rush to the LoS without the time to assess the defense. No QB will ever thrive in a situation where he can't look at the Def before the snap (especially when they throw less than 20 times a game).
