Ryno on the Black and Blue Report

Mostly pleasant chit chat, but a few worthwhile nuggets.
- Didn't have his legs where they needed to be most of last season which really impacted his shot. Feels much better now.
- Used the word athleticism a ton, even said he'd be more explosive without those "15-20" pounds added to me.
- The defense is simplified compared to what they had run. The bigs are responsible for the communication.
- Sean Kelley said Gordon told him the team could average 108-109 ppg.
- Ryno wants someone to throw him a crawfish boil.

Did it say what he got up or down to? I think he was around 240 or so. Dropping down to sub 230 seems awfully small for a 6'10 guy. I know he doesn't bang much, but still has to mix it up as a "big".

That's the key. And it's good. His dropping weight + AD putting on more muscle (I read that he put on another 10 lbs in the offseason) means no more Ryno playing center.
I love that everyone seems to be buying into Gentry's system over the offseason. Gordon, Reke, and Ryno have lost the weight of a fat child over the past 4 months. They're ready to run. I don't know how much better we'll be than we were last season (I'd say 5 or 6 games), but we're going to be a LOT of fun to watch.

No doubt. Will be entertaining as hell.

No, he kind of mentioned the weight loss in passing.

from what i hear, he's been throwing quite a few parties at his house that have led to the cops being called over.

As long as he doesn't hurt anybody else it's all good. If you want to party than party but don't lead people on and shite.

Ryno is one of those that'll benefit most from gentrys system. I can't wait for the season to start.
