I have a small camper and enjoy going to parks with improved sites. I am familiar with some of the state parks. I am looking for recs for any state parks but mostly any private parks that are of similar caliber. I know they can be hit or miss. Scenic parks only, not interested in the gimmick parks like Cajun Palms.

Private - you might be thinking of the old Indian Creek CG north of Slidell.
Don't bring the kids there. It's now a private nudist colony

Who the hell would bring kids there?
