Only time will tell but how do you justify that this class is better than the class of 2009?

Rueben Randle, Chris Faulk, Barkevious Mingo, Sam Montgomery, Michael Brockers, Kevin Minter and Morris Claiborne. That's 6 possible first round NFL draft picks in one class. I love the class of 2013 but to already label it better than 2009 is a joke.

Yes I believe, as it stands now....it is the best...everyone of our players are rated 4 stars by one reputable recruiting service or another...you add Burns/Jacson/Bowers...it is a stunning achievement

c/o 2009 when all is said and done will be one of the greatest ever, not just in LSU history, as far as how many of them were drafted by the NFL.

i would say this class is better than 09 if we look at it based on top to bottom ratings. but theres no way to say how good it will be until this class is done at lsu

Wrong, that only happened in 2012 with Landon Collins. In 2011, La'el and the Freak were the top players and this year Tre'davious and Beckwith are the highest rated.

I agree with this except, I don't think Landon Collins is any better than Deion Jones. They are both 200 LBs and run 4.4 40s. I realize Collins was rated higher, but every time I've seen Jones on the field, in high school and college, he has been an absolute 10 out of 10. I would not trade Landon Collins for Debo, although I concede that Collins is deserving of his rating. The point is that when we talk about the best players, we're usually referring to the ones the services think are best, not the actual best players.

what do you mean by best ever? if the group wins a NC at LSU then it will be a better class than 09. I assume you are talking about best ever at LSU which should be based on accomplishments at LSU.

if you are talking about top NFL draft choices, then you are CRAZY if you think this class will produce more and higher draft choices than 09.

I can see White, Pocic, Boutte, Herron, Gilmore, and Beckwith all being 1st rounders if they don't have any major setbacks.
