Every LT that has started for CBB has been drafted in the first round.

Oh, so that whole more Bielema has put more people in the pros thing isn't correct? 25 people from Wisconsin in the league. 20 people from Bama drafted in the last 3 years.

Petrino's get cut quickly.
Bielema's make the team.

That's quite the recruiting pitch.

BB: "They won't recognize your talent before the draft, and you won't get any kind of significant signing bonus. But, in the end, your inherent talent will allow you to make the team."

The same can be said for Alabama. And Cryus Kouandjio is the next one.

no one said that bama wasn't that. the OP said the test for the coach was could he recruit at all. the response was that he's sent out 1st rounder after first rounder at LT he knows how to spot talent. then bama fan chimes in and says well yeah we do too. good lord bama fans are so fricking insecure they can't let a thread go by without them being the center of attention.

bama fans are the linsay lohan of sports forums

I think you should read the entire thread, and why I responded with Alabama's success of placing LTs in the NFL. One of your fellow Hogs was suggesting that Bret Bielema has placed more players in the NFL than Alabama over the last three years. That is incorrect. The same poster also brought up Bielema's success of placing LTs in the first round. I responded in kind, considering his previous incorrect assertions.

I'm not in this thread with a "look at me" attitude. Just take a look at my Altee Tenpenny thread on the SEC Recruiting board. I have already suggested he'll switch in due time.

This really isn't that hard. How many players from wisky are in the nfl and how many from bama? I'm not looking it up but I would imagine its bama by a mile. Bama, lsu, Georgia, and Florida will continue to be the nfl farm system. while Arky may produce some NFL caliber linemen under BB, the depth of nfl talent wont even compare to the big boys.

Actually BB isn't in the top half of the SEC as a coach. You can take that to the bank.

So he will get develop a 3 star into a good LT. What about all the other 3 stars and their respective positions, or is LT the only position on the field.

Recruiting. He admittedly doesn't enjoy it. That's spells trouble in the SEC. See Dan Mullen, who has this issue.

In the SEC, you can't take enough Walk ons and 3 stars and compete with the bama, Florida, lsu, and Georgia's.

Alabama - 28
Wisconsin - 25

Not that big of a separation.

Actually a lot closer than you think. I'm referring to players drafted the last 3-4 years.

I need to look it up but just scanning the line items was surprising.

petrino literally just did this. The only team's we lost to were either bama or played in the national championship game.
