Coach Les Miles discussing what it takes for a recruit to come to Baton Rouge suit up for LSU and compete for a position on the field. I have learned to love this dude's coaching philosophy. He wants his team to put on a show, play loose, play with wreckless abandonment, but just win...

If you don't have some swagger to you and you can step into this stadium and be able to know the advantage that you're playing with the Tigers and you're leading the program that has some real weight and clout, then you really need to stay home with your brothers. “I don't mean that [negatively]. I'm for him. He gets a chance to come in here and compete and start on a team that is a great team. I really meant what I said. I was talking more about the confidence and swagger. I was not demeaning. If he shows up, it means he has all those things …

its not who he is talking about that matters IMO. its about how he feels about the Tigers as a squad you gotta have that swag and confidence to come down here and play for this squad...i love this point. Individualism is what powers the Tigers

Thanks.. Yeah I agree. This team has unbelievable swagger. Going back to Patrick Peterson, and tm7.

True true. Laron was probably the most badass lsu player I have ever seen. And is doing the same stuff in the pros. One of my favorite tigers of all time. Along with skyler green. But that might be biased because he is one of my boys.

I guess it will be hard for him to touch the field if Golston (sp?) keeps on winning. Golston is a redshirt freshman. I don't fault Keil for exploring his options. He wants to play and nothing is wrong with that. His still should have stayed with LSU IMO but that is spilled milk and we will be fine without him.

Gunner. That is an excerpt from an April, 2012 article that I posted this morning in another thread.
