you would think no one outside of the South is going to watch LSU-Alabama II. And yet, I find that very hard to believe, considering the three highest-rated network TV games this year all featured LSU (vs. Alabama on Nov. 5, vs. Arkansas on Nov. 25 and vs. Georgia on Dec. 3).
LINK fixed
My First reaction - Wow.
My second reaction - I would'a guessed Oregon ratings were higher than Georgia or Arkansas.

your link fall down.
i thought LSU-Oregon was pretty high, like top 10 but I don't have any proof of this handy.

High rating are attributed to several factors but one that cannot be left out is the Les Miles factor. His reputation precedes himself.

Stewart, in the Nov. 6 edition of your bowl projections, you have Virginia Tech playing in the Sugar Bowl as an at-large selection. It appears as if you were the only one to see it coming. You my friend, have a gift. -- Tony Hiserman, Waynesboro, Va.
Oh yeah, how 'bout that prediction of LSU floundering this year, finishing a WHOLE 10 SPOTS BEHIND ARKANSAS?!
What a great gift you have there, Stewie.
