Here's my issue with the left (long)

I want to start this by saying that I'm not a Trump fan, and wouldn't necessarily identify myself as a Republican anymore, but I have serious issues with the way this tragedy has/would have been handled by some members of the left.
I get that gun control makes shootings more difficult to happen, I really do. But focusing on stopping Tadical Islamic Terrorism makes certain attacks like Paris and London more difficult for those to happen. If this attack was done by a member of ISIS and Trump would have immediately called out Radical Islamic Terrorists the same way that Hillary and many members of the left have called out the NRA, I believe he would have been absolutely crushed by the MSM for not focusing on the victims and making this about an "agenda".
FWIW, I think we should try and be unified right now, and I apologize if my post creates more divisiveness, but the hypocrisy is astounding. I hope and pray that we become better than this in future tragedies and work together to make sure events like this never happen again.

You just summed up the leftist double standard.
Take a look at the Church shooting in South Carolina. It went from some psycho killing 9 innocent people to passing legislation in the removal of Confederate flags. Totally irrelevant of one another.

When you institute gun control, it makes you dependent on the police and/or military. I never want that. Ever. Nor should you.
"Working together" is several years away. We are too emotionally driven with politics and neither side will budge as payback for Trump winning. Oh, and liberals are crazy AF.

2 weeks ago a black man killed innocent people in a church in tennessee because he hated white people. Hardly anything in the media and nothing from the left addressing it.

When you worship the state, it becomes your moral center and authority. Christians will pray for the victims of this tragedy, while the left's moral authority, the government, will use this tragedy to try and ban things they deem undesirable.
