i know the team is wearing purple but is this the game where fans wear purple? I know Auburn is the gold game.

Is this true? Most posts say purple shirts w/ gold pants and helmets. Can someone provide a link?
Even though purple on white doesn't look as good, it usually produces a better outcome than purple jerseys on gold.

That's great news, if it's true. After the 2004 and 2008 encounters w/ this team, I don't want to see the purple jerseys w/ gold pants and headgear. Too much unfavorable vibes with that combination. Maybe against some other team it's OK, but not Troy.
