Is the switch getting a regular Pokémon game?

I got a switch for my birthday and I can't figure out if there will be a normal Pokémon like red/blue or just the tournament game deal.

Yep. It's finally happening. Next gen will be on the Switch and a mainstream Pokémon game.

I would like to see a port since the new Pokemon game is still a few years away.

I still collect the TCG. Pokemon are just fckking fun. Also the whole nostalgia thing. Those OG 151 really pull those strings.
