About a month ago, I heard it was in bad shape. FWIW.

They wouldn't know in the pro shop anyway. I go there for an event every April, and the Choctaw Indian staff at the course and the casino/hotel are some of the laziest SOBs I've ever seen at a "resort." The Azaleas course had a bridge that was out leading from the 1st tee to the first fairway, so they had a sign posted near the driving range saying that #1 was playing as a par 3, and to ask for details on how to get to the temporary tee box. So, I asked inside, and the guy behind the desk just shrugged and said, "I don't know."

The courses there are awesome though. Too bad if they aren't in good shape.

We played earlier this year and the courses were in very good shape. The bridge was under repair, I was hoping they had it repaired by now.

The service is sub par. I've had friendlier encounters at Pelican Point, and I'm not Pelican's biggest fan.

I was there the 2nd weekend in April. I'd be surprised if it wasn't fixed by now. In fact, I thought that the temporary cart path they laid down through the woods took more effort than fixing the bridge would've taken. That was a trek to get to the first fairway.

Played there in late June.

Bridge was repaired.

The service has never been good at the golf course, so expect that. I think its because the people that are working there have absolutely no clue about golf. The casino isn't much better. They could use some customer service training.

The courses themselves seemed to be in pretty decent shape. It had rained heavily in the week before so it was pretty soggy. But overall, it appeared that the course, if dry, would have been good.

Played both Oaks and Azelas this week. Greens were punched a couple weeks ago. All in all, not a bad deal if you can get the reduced rate.
Not worth the $120-150 rack rate.
