Nucanoe Pedal

Love the idea of the 360° seat and the open cockpit.

That is a cool design with it being modular. Looks like it will kick up if anything hits it which is nice. A few things are a concern though. The pedals look like they will be a little higher than a person's hips when seated causing the "knees in your chest" feeling. The drive pulley is exposed. I could easily see junk getting caught up in the drive and causing issues. With no rudder, it will be difficult/impossible to steer the kayak while drifting if you are not actively pedaling.

Isn't the rudder integrated with the prop?

If I am seeing that right it appears that the prop system is controlled by a rubber belt. That is a terrible design for anyone that fishes inshore water. The prop system may "kick up" but what happens when an oyster shell goes between the belt and the shaft. Or if you go over a grass bed and grass gets caught in the belt.
I think the idea of a foot peddle controlling a prop in the back could be cool.. maybe... but the design looks really bad.
