Streaming issues with PS Vue?

I have frequent freezes and issues with voice and video being out of sync. No such problems with DTV Now or streaming via Netflix or Amazon.

I have U-verse 25M service. It's the fastest I can get from them. But given I don't have trouble with other services I doubt that's the issue.

Any constructive ideas?

Are you using 802.11n (2.4 GHz) or 802.11ac (5 GHz) wireless? If ac then try setting your router to channel 36 at a bandwidth of 40 MHz.

Also, download the WiFi Analyzer app and if you are using wireless n, then check to see which channel, either 1, 6 or 11, has the least interference from your neighbors and go with that channel. Also, set your bandwidth to 20 MHz for the least amount of interference.

Several times when it freezes every 10 seconds, I reset the router and it works fine after that.

Was having issues this week and thought it was Vue but I happen to have a stream on my Ipad yesterday at the same time and it paused at the same time.

So, reset wifi and reset cable modem and things stabilized.

Thanks to all who offered constructive comments. I'll try a few things suggested and bump the thread with feedback.

My system is wireless and I use AppleTV. I didn't assume it was wireless related since I don't see the issue with DTV Now or Amazon or Netflix. Will report back when I can tinker with some settings.
