For the folks claiming we still don't have any pass rushers and acting like the slate is clean at DE, remember we signed this guy? We can still get a guy at #42 or #76 to compete with him for the spot. If healthy, he will be a force.

He only had 3.5 sacks last year. Not saying he won't explode in New Orleans but he's kind of meh on paper

Thanks for the info, but he did play with his hand in the dirt at Texas if I'm not mistaken. Natural DE who is on a "prove it" deal.

i think Okafor, Kikaha, and a possible project in round 3/4 may be a good platoon for a year

we're not going to fill every hole on this team b/c there are so many. we have to draft the top talent with each pick and avoid passing on talent for need

this isn't the last year with the draft. there are vet cuts we may be able to scoop up before the year. we have to remain flexibe

Neither he or Kikaha are a sure thing. Although, both have shown they can rush the passer. We should add one more option and see who wins. 3 options are better than the none we had a last year though. Kruger was basically a heart beat on the line.

If you honestly think that the Saints have solved their pass rush needs with Okafor or hoping Kikaha is the next Von Miller, you are being delusional. This team needs pass rush help in a big way. Anything Okafor and Kikaha gives us is lagniappe.

The cardinals led the NFL in sacks with jones, golden, and Campbell all over 8. There was a lot of competition trying to get the sack there

I'm not saying all the pass rushing problems are solved with Okafor. I was merely reminding that we do have something to work with that is an unknown.
