It's been a long time since I've posted about the LSU baseball program. This team has been a total disappointment since the moment we stepped off of the bus in Houston. There is clearly a lack of leadership on the field and in the dugout. These guys are the biggest group of premadonnas to ever wear the purple and gold. We've got the gold chain gang and kramers famous cleats. They are clearly more worried about their instagram posts than the game. Paul seems to have left his mental toughness in Omaha a few years ago. Last year Cannizzaro gave us a much needed spine in the dugout. Now we are back to Paul looking like he wants to crawl into a hole. That mentality shows in every big game. This is by far Paul's worst coaching job at LSU. Not sure where we go from here.... but we need a veteran hitting coach asap. Some accountability on leadership would probably help as well.

Yeah, disappointing to say the least. If they don't have a major turnaround at Bama, we're in trouble. The home stretch is really tough...Carolina, Aubie, Leg Humpers.

Given our road record, this is obvious.

If Mainieri gets fired and we don't have a full team of tiny short-man's-syndrome swag figs then it'll be an absolute distaster for the sale of size 6 Jordans at foot locker, the skinny jeans section at Forever 21, and that Indian Guy's fake gold chain kiosk at Cortana Mall. Our baseball team is literally single-handedly keeping those businesses afloat

Oh that would be the team that's going to win the SEC. Pretty sad that this guy is throwing stones while living in a glass house. Lsu looks more like the leg humpers right now than Mississippi State that's for damn sure!

The atmosphere at the game last night was dead. Tulane fans were too, but it was sort of surprising to see the lack of interest and enthusiasm on the LSU side.

LSU baseball is losing interest and fan support. This is the least talented team in forever and Paul loves bunting. It's a boring, shitty product.

Have to change that. Paul should be fired. But I understand it's not that easy.

5 years in-a-row going into the postseason as a national seed.

I think Les Miles said that

Well Tom Emanski, I am sure you could do better and you have all the solutions....if only LSU had hired you instead.

This team needs a drastic change in approach. This crap isn't working getting 7 hits against crap pitching is not lsu baseball. Getting 3 or 4 hits against better pitching in the sec is even worse. Sec pitchers are mainly starting to pitch around deichmann so we have almost no power in the lineup and it takes 3 singles to score a run. They have speed but were not really stealing bases because we're behind in most games or they get a single with 2 outs. Maybe if we can get ahead of teams early the pitching would improve? Pitchers are trying to pitch a perfect game cause they know there's not much run support at this point not much to lose shaking this shite show up. We need to be more like Kentucky or Arkansas put people in the lineup that have a chance to run into some and hit em out or at least some gap power instead of singles. Sit Kramer on the bench and put smith at ss. Put Woley at 3rd Romero at catcher. Coomes stays at first let Beau play left and Duplantis in center and dh Bryce Adams. Even if they only get 7 or 8 hits it would amount to more runs most of the time. We could have deichmann ,Beau ,Bryce Adams , Coomes, and Josh smith who can all tie into one at any time or at least hit some in the gap. Then Duplantis and freeman could swipe some bags when they get on and have more chances for 2 or 3 run homers and more runs. This crap just ain't working and is hard to watch. This team needs a change in approach. Playing small ball isn't working cause pawl don't know how to play small ball we need more power and runs period. Give the pitchers some runs!

It seems Cannizaro can get different position players to pitch & throw strikes---some haven't pitched in years--getting players to play beyond their abilities -- not to mention teaching some hitting skills to those same players-- maybe going back to everybody plays everywhere works.

I'm no real fan of PM, but players have worn those chains for years now.
