Plug an Internet cable directly into your PS4 and it'll be clear.

I am hard wired the app just freezes.

Chromecast is an easily affordable alternative. Never any issues

Watching is on my PS4 now and no issues what so ever although it has honestly been hit or miss for me though.

It's pretty bad for me on the ps4 too. And I have it hard wired. Last month the cast button miraculously showed back up on the app so now I can use the chrome cast, which works well. But it won't detect the Visio Smart cast (chrome cast built into Visio smart tvs) for some reason. So I have to watch in the office instead of the living room or physically move the chrome cast. It's a shitty app.
