Buffon says that Juventus doesn't want Leicester in the quarters.....I wonder if that match is drawn if he'd be willing to throw the balls back in and take a crack at drawing Bayern or Bartha again

Sevilla was an extremely favorable draw? The team 3 points behind barça?

Leicester is still dangerous because you can own them for 85 minutes but if you slip up once or twice then they're through on goal with a counter attack. When Vardy and Mahrez aren't dragging arse to get a coach fired they're still lethal in transition

He's a fan of the game, and realizes what the Foxes have done has no equal in the Power Leagues. This is historic to a point.

Anything more they do, just adds to their lore and to history of their club.

at least spurs flopped out of both competitions so they could use all of their energy on the League and winning the EPL.

Both Spurs and Leicester have made the quarterfinals of the Champions League more recently than Arsenal.

Ah shite, I thought Benfica won it in 2014.

Yeah, regardless though, Sevilla are a solid team

Definitely interested to see if they can keep this hot streak going. No way they were beating Sevilla with Ranieri still in charge. Those assholes had given up on him.

Sevilla are a solid team that has been pretty weak in La Liga as of late, and obviously this carried over

That said, there is absolutely no excuse for not advancing from a tie with Leicester.

Yes. Sevilla play an extremely high line (which is perfect for Vardy ball) and can't play away from home (the latter has been Sevilla's thing for years).

Leicester isn't poor. They've got an oligarch behind them and the Sky subsidies.

OK, but every EPL team that makes the UCL has a lot of money. And it's not like the money's made them a good EPL team this season.

That's where the favourable draw part comes in (FFS, I'd have tabbed Boro to advance from Leicester's group).

Considering these four teams were among the potential opponents: PSG, City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid

I'd say drawing Sevilla, Benfica, or Leverkusen would be considered as a favorable draw. It's the CL though. Nothing is all that favorable once you get to this point
