Trump naming this fricking dweeb Reince P Chief of Staff may be the single biggest mistake he will ever make. Reince is a fricking establishment mole and cannot be trusted. fricking shocked Trump made this kind of error in judgement.

Trump doesn't have the personality to nominate truly competent people.

Ironically this is strangely similar to Bill Clinton's first 2 years

Just what I've been thinking. Except Clinton's approval rating was below 40. He won reelection easily when he was able to get his house in order.

Newt is a great PR person.

He is smart, quick on his feet and very convincing.

He is also a great debater.

No! Newt is a flip flopper if there ever was one. Let him go sit on Nancy's couch.

Newt is about Newt. First, foremost and forever. He does not view himself as a No. 2.

He's not strong enough to be a No. 1, but he views himself that way.

Plus, Newt is out making money. He wouldn't have taken the pay cut for anything less than a cabinet job.

Plus, Newt still owes lots of people money from past campaigns and failed "policy ventures." He is not good at getting his bills paid. That's not a good look for a person going through a confirmation process to head an agency or standing next to the president as CoS.
