We played in Oak Hills, probably before that timeframe. I was at LSU by 1992. And no, Not at Calvary. I just remember all of my friends saying her comes frickface or whatever we called people like that back then. I'm not sure what you interpreted from what I said. But the joke was always on him. We'd set him up with his cocky BS and then mentally torture him. I won't name names but it was some pretty smart kids. Doctors and lawyers and such now. He wasn't the wiser. Anyway bygone days. I'd like to go back and relive them and videotape the whole scenario.

Gotcha. We were just trashy Woodlawn and Lee tards. Nobody bullied anyone. Except this little shite from Southland Ct

Well I wasn't then but I did just have two ice cold cloudy Envie's at Walk Ons.

Reading Gary's FB wall scares the shite out of me. John Delgado was 100% correct with his assessment of FGC and Silkly Slim (convicted of attempted murder apparently) being a part of the Brooke administration. Simply put, they should not be anywhere close to political power. Silky slim walks around with a noose and FGC makes blacks think that the "white establishment" is inherently against them, which couldn't be further from the truth. It's so freaking sad that people buy into his BS. It speaks volumues of the intelligence of people that agree with FGC.
FGC is like Baton Rouge's Anwar al-Awlaki. The guy is steady radicalizing dumb, vulnerable people. All of the people that post on his wall have one thing in common -- they all act like victims who want revenge against the white man. And, FGC simply adds gasoline to this fire.
One thing is for sure, if FGC has a steady role in the Broome administration, everyone should contact the administration to explain their dissatisfaction. FGC makes money and gets exposure by dividing people in this city. It's a damn shame that the mayor has affiliated herself with him.

This whole debacle reminds me of Nagin's "Chocolate City" speech. They got what they wanted, and now, I'm afraid, B.R. will as well. Give me all the crap y'all want, but I'm glad as hell I live in the L.P.

I look back at some of the psychological warfare we engaged in as kids, and it was pretty brutal. I admit I was never alpha (a-hole) enough to initiate it, and if it was against someone I felt was defenseless I'd try to quell it. But damn.
We screwed with this one kid so badly he's probably a serial killer now, and I'm not sure he ever consciously knew it--e.g., one of us would tell a "joke" that was intentionally not remotely funny and we'd all die laughing. When the target would crack up we'd stop abruptly and one of would ask, "So, why is that funny?" And listen intently while he squirmed. So freaking mean and not particularly original.
This has nothing to do with JD. Really all I remember specifically about him was he'd try to take over our very informal neighborhood game and we did little things (not Scott Tenerman level) to frick with him. I'm ashamed of one in particular that my now-doc friend and I pulled. It came back to me after posting on this.
Self redemption: I do recall another instance at a "camping" trip birthday party on my friend's property in Bayou Manchac where my friends tried to leave our poor nerdy friend out in the tent and locked the door of the house. I felt so bad for the kid that I stayed out with him. He later drowned in CA. OK, now I can sleep better.
Fun times. Maybe we were too hard on JD, but I doubt he ever even noticed.
