Maybe they plan on turning narcisse into the next Cam Newton. Who knows what the hell our program is doing these days. I've stopped trying to figure it out.

A QB doesn't have to run like Cam, Tebow, or Vick. But, at least be able to present it as a threat in his arsenal.
Only real pocket passers to win the NC in the last 8 years were Bama guys who played on stacked teams and had help from SEC refs.
All other QB's to win the NC were guys that could pick up huge yards with their feet or take it to the house. You have to go back past 10 years when USC and Oklahoma were winning to find a pure pocket passer.

I think Brennan will be fine once he gains a few pounds and gets stronger. Narcisse gets up the field a little faster but neither are Lamar Jackson fast. Both can really throw a very nice ball. We would be lucky to bring both in one class.
I look for us to use them as guys who can pick up a few yards and keep the defense honest when needed. I'd love for them to spend the majority of their time in the pocket unless it collapses.

Maybe he thinks the new OC is bringing in his pet so it won't be a fair competition. And even if the pet doesn't come, he could still think it means the new OC will be biased against him from the start.

I agree...but we need a QB to run away from the Bama front seven unless we get extremely upgraded on the Oline.

First off no qb has rushed for 100 yards vs bama this myth that you need a running qb to beat them is bullshite. Manziel Kelly and Wallace didn't run to beat bama they threw the ball from the pocket to beat them. Do you need to spread them out and get your playmakers in space? Yes do you need a running qb? No everytime someone beats them it's because of a big passing day not because the qb runs the ball to beat them. And there's been 2 running QBS in the past 10 years to win a natty tebow and cam and there Arnt many players like that lying around. The other 8 QBS were all passers so this myth everyone talks about is flat out wrong with no data to support it.

No qb has ever beat bama under Saban with their feet this myth is the dummest LSU fans have ever cooked up.
