This exactly! If he doesn't replace elite coordinators with the like then he'll be lost.

Why not focus more on getting the best HEAD COACH out there?

why do you need the best when you can have a middling coach from the bayou?

CEO isnt the OC. Hes an administrator. He just needs to hire a good OC. Unless your HC has an offensive or defensive specialty like Saban/Aranda does on defense or Sean Peyton does on offense, youre really just hiring a figurehead for the program.

Do you think O didn't have any input on the offensive game plan against Bama? If true, he needs to be fired immediately. If he did, the he is ultimately to blame for the shite show that came from that game plan.

It didn't take a genius OC to determine our uber conservative offense had no chance against Bama. Especially with a crap Oline and a scared QB.

O is to blame for that game plan, and not changing it after the first half when it was VERY obvious it wasn't going to work.

Hiring the right HC is 40000 times more important than keeping the DL coach/Recruiting cood.

Ponamsky used to say that Brick Haley was a great recruiter. Nothing else need be said about him.
