Stadium Club South Question

Anyone sat in this area before? Is it worth the extra for the "amenities"? Any info would be appreciated. Never sat there before. Thanks!

I've personally never sat there and I'm sure no one has, ever

Having alcohol in the stadium is great and the food is good enough, but the seats are pretty bad. As high as the nosebleeds but you're in the end zone.
Personally, I would rather good seats, but for games like Nov. 5 it won't matter where you sit in Tiger Stadium.

shite seats, IMO. The view is terrible, and the club is overcrowded.
If you're going to shell out for club seats in the south, just buy tickets in the west club or lower bowl sidelines.

Biggest perk. No line for the bathroom after buying the over priced drinks, and the buffet line style food. Other then that seats suck I'd rather be in the lower section. Really doesn't feel like your even at the game at least the section I've been in.

5 bucks a beer is pretty reasonable for inside a stadium, but i agree that you're better off in the lower bowl.
It's a little more family friendly and you're less likely to have a negative experience with a trashy fan.

No.
It's crowded, call it the poor man suites

I have season tickets there. The amenities are great in certain circumstances, such as weather (rain, heat, cold issues), don't have a particular place to tailgate, etc. Multiple games on many televisions throughout the interior area before the Tigers game, no lines to speak of for getting in, out, food. Sometimes there is a little bit of a line for alcohol.
Two main problems. First is the cost. If I remember correctly the donation required each year is $2,300 per seat plus the actual ticket cost. Don't think you are going to get a bargain on buying seats up there from someone as they are paying around $800-$900 per game for two tickets.
Second problem is they are really high up in the stadium.
So if you can live with the cost of the tickets, you have to decide whether the remaining trade off of the amenities vs. the seat location is worth it. To each his own!

seats are big and comfy, food is what you would expect, for basic catering style food. unlimited soft drinks, and buying a 6 dollar buffalo trace isn't too bad. Elevators to get in and out. View isn't the lower bowl but you can see good enough especially with the 2 video boards to your left and right. Worth it to me. my kids love it too they can hang out inside and eat icecream, got dogs and nachos all game if they so choose.

Sat in first row up there.
Inside the club is awesome. Outside the seats seemed roomy but it's very high up. Had to lean forward to see fiield over the railing/wall

I love them
The view is fine and if you want to eat inside you have tvs
The bathrooms are a plus
The food is great
They serve alcohol
You don't have to deal with trashy people and you still get the atmosphere of the stadium.
I recommend them, I've sat in the west and it's less crowded and maybe a better view of field but for this game I actually chose south stadium over west.

I sit up there and love it.. Great sideline seats are a better view but the view is pretty damn good if you like watching plays develop. The bathrooms, food and booze make it worthwhile for me. Not sure how long Ill continue sitting up there but I enjoy it now..
