LF hits a crease and gets to the secondary better than anyone..AND when he gets there someone is going to get embarrassed, but if he doesn't have that crease he is as human as any other RB in the NCAA.

Nailed it.

I couldn't believe that some on here were saying that. Guice is a very good back but LF is another level. He is incredible to watch.

It's like comparing a 500 year flood to a 1000 year flood. It's all academic unless your house just got flooded, you really don't give a darn.

I'm not arguing that Guice is better or even equal to LF, but I'll say this about Guice as compared to LF. When there isn't an obvious crease or hole to hit LF doesn't seem to get much, where Guice seems to find an extra yard or two and frequently turns nothing into a big gain.

I'll agree with this. That's why I think Guice may end up being just as productive in the NFL... you're not going to see too many gaping holes on Sunday.

I'm glad we have both!

I wouldn't go that far, but yes, if LF does not have enough room to get up to speed, he is much easier to bring down.

LF's breakaway speed and initial explosion are traits that Guice doesnt have. And it has always been that way. Our fans are fricking dumb

Wow. You're blind. Sorry about that. Guice would not have had 3 TDs of 50+, and 2 x 70+ last night. Fact.

I wonder if the fans at Oklahoma State spent all their time arguing over which back was better when they had Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders or if they just sat back and smiled at their good fortune.

Coaching is more political than it is anything else at the HC level. Coach O can recruit and if he has the business acumen to fire the OC hours after being named interim and if Ensminger keeps taking advantage of his opportunity too, then you can't ask for much more. This is very delicate. Miles obviously had some of the best assistants there are. This whole staff has the opportunity to win job stability.

LF is obviously one of those backs you rarely see in a lifetime. Guice became the fastest RB by number of carries to get 1000 yards at LSU, so he is great too. Fournette has proven that he can do it game after game as the main horse. That's difficult to do.

Not even close. LF7 is a once in 5 lifetimes back. No one alive today will ever see a back as good as him wearing the purple and gold again in their lifetime

Pump the brakes baw

Screw that. We do hype running backs here big time. But in this case it is true. LF is the best running back since Bo and Hershel!

Guice is a beast. I would put him at the fourth best back to ever play at LSU.

When you have someone on your team that people start comparing to Herschel Walker, nobody is gonna come close to being that good. Those are once in a lifetime players, period. I don't expect to ever see anyone that good ever again.

Guice is top 5 in the NCAA. He can cut better than LF7, but doesn't have the vision, timing, and needs to gain power. He gets tackled too easily.
