A Tribute To Mike From An Unknown SEC Fan

"LSU sighed the day Mike died, and stood there in silence
with a tear in our eye.
The 12th man stood there and bowed his head, and prayed
for safe journey of our beloved dead.
Rebels took a knee and the Bulldogs howled.. Knowing they
would miss Ole Mike’s growl.
Razorbacks stomped and shook their heads when they heard
the news that Ole Mike was dead.
The War Eagle flew and started to soar, and looked at LSU
because he could see Mike no more.
Big Al was tough, but silently cried. And there was a
calm in that old Crimson Tide.
Time heals the heart, but love does it best. We will miss
you forever….

An awesome tribute for an awesome mascot. Hope you guys get a new one, but you will never replace that one. He had character. He was powerful but at the same time he looked like a big playful kitty cat. He made LSU football special to me.

No lie, gave me chills. SEC is a special place. I had a few buddies (aTm, Ole Miss, and Bama) all text me. That cat meant a lot to a lot of people.
