ESPN - "Ask head coaches about the best jobs in America, and the head-coaching job at LSU is second only to the guy who signs the Powerball checks. LSU is the only Power 5 school in a talent-rich state."

If that's the case why LSU only has 3 ships in the history of the school, and better yet why did'nt Saban win a ship every year here?

People are wanting Herman and Fisher and others when I think they already have their coach in this man. If he gets LSU rolling with the new energy he will bring and the offense starts lighting up people. There is no need to hire anyone else. He will be the man! I think he can take it to Saban and Bama.

LSU cannot get caught up in the "lets keep the band together." Thing. Those don't work out more than it works. But, if O earns it and wins the west then he's earned it.
Bottom line the very best available coach needs to be hired. If that so then so be it. This is bigger than a recruiting class, team unity, or current coaches on staff. All of that stuff can be easily fixed with the right hire.
