My fountain stopped working and I contacted a guy through a friend and his hourly rate is $150. I think I need to shop this around. Any recommendations? Baton Rouge area

RA'd, please move to the "White People Problems Board".

Is this a freestanding fountain or a fountain on a pool?

Free standing and it's a 3 tier type. I just can't get the fountain apart by myself.

Idiot - fixing it not the problem it's dismantling the thing to get to the pump.

$150 an hour to work on a fountain? How much are those things?

$125 on amazon. Buy a new one.

I would make sure that is for the whole crew. He will have to bring some guys out to help dismantle it. Is there a minimum? Include any extras like cupcakes or a dozen KK?

It's not the fountain itself but the small motor inside the fountain. It's not possible to get rid of it - built into the patio
