Any one have a boat in this area? Any info (i.e. Dry, houses with water, etc.) on this area?
A friend is overseas and trying to get in touch with elderly family. No contact all day. I'm in BR and have tried to get there via boat and couldn't find a route.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: thanks everyone for the info and offers to help. The elderly ladies mentioned above have made contact. They are safe. A neighbor has been staying with them and taking care of them. No water in house and they have electricity.
Thanks again to all who responded.

My buddy's boss lives in there, he said the neighborhood is flooded, no water in his house yet. They still have electricity

Thank you. If you get any update, please pass along. And if your buddy's boss is able to move around (provided it isn't too flooded, can do it safely, and is willing), please let me know. I would like to get these people checked on.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
