Please explain to me how so called "curse words" have any relevance to principle, ethics and character? Be specific.

Nice dodge. I guess you dont possess either a defense or a proper vocabulary to state your case.

Did she get disciplined?
Yes. She has to march with the opposing team's band during half time for football games. Unless they take that back in another "psyche" move.

At my age I've found a direct correlation between character and individuals who use profane language. It's more times than not directly associated to their highest level of education and upbringing.
I hire and fire folks for a living and I'm always wary of folks who curse openly around individuals they don't know personally.

She didn't say a thing that I have not heard a girl say in the bedroom or on the back seat of a car. Don't understand the big deal.

Let her be. She said foul ball.

Did she get disciplined? LSU's marketing/promotions staff is a ruthless bunch. I wouldn't be surprised if she got the ax...or at least got her mouth washed out with soap.
The extent of her punishment was that the team will not pass her around for a whole week.

i'll bet it's because you are looking for it. at my age, I've found there is NO correlation whatsoever between character and profane language. yes, it depends on where it's used but mostly cuss words are merely adjectives with an emphasis.

some of the funniest users of profane language I've encountered are well educated and their character and upbringing are top notch. tattoos make me a lot more leery but I've had to adjust my prejudice on that as I've not noticed a correlation there either.

I see your problem. any person using profanity in a job interview is a fricking idiot. or in front of a customer, etc, etc

Why is everyone here so focused on the language she used? That's not the bigger issue.
Should she be relieved of her position? Absolutely. She tossed a live ball into the stands during the Super Regionals, unarguably the most important series up to this point in the season. If a guy had made this mistake it would be a no-brainer. I think everyone should be held to the same standard especially when it's her job to know what to do.

I don't like foul mouthed women. I wish we could roll back time a little and make such language less acceptable.
So humans have decided that certain phonetics coming out of an airhole are unacceptable? The horror. Go frick yourself.

Sheeeesh, bad apple, I guess you never made a mistake when you were 19...must be great to be perfect like you...

It's her job to know. If I made the same mistake I would not find it unreasonable to be fired.

Yea, if she was breaking down in tears, people would rip on how she is too soft to handle it.
She obviously has a healthy sense of humor, and handled that about as perfectly as a girl can. No problem with it whatsoever.
