What the hell is going on with a rapper doing rap at the CMT awards? I thought that at least, ostensibly this was about County Music although Nashville seems to be scared of getting actual country music guys into some sort of rotation except for Chris Stapleton....someone made a mistake there.

someone hasn't been paying attention to mainstream "country" music lately.

tractor rap, hick hop etc... rap with a fiddle. that's what sells records these days.

Pit bull is somehow associated with Garth Brooks company called Ghost Tunes. Could be related to that in some way.

Listen to Georgia Florida Line and it's not much difference between them.

Bro Country (record exec's) is and has been embracing this type of direction for a while now.

The audio-diarreah on this show has nothing to do with real country music. I'm so sad this crap is on the radio and TV.

I am glad that Waylon Jennings and George Jones are dead and they do not have to see this kind of shite. This would qualify as being on the fightin' side of Merle ( RIP)

I drink Bug Light sometimes and I still don't know who this guy is.

I guess his demographic for radio isn't in my area...because I've never heard a single song, don't have cable so I guess I don't get his commercials except for Super Bowl. I saw his picture on a Bud Light case a year ago and saw one of his Super Bowl commercials.

They call him Mr World Wide for a reason. An FYI, I just recently subscribed to Spotify. Have 1800 songs and counting. There is not or ever will be one country song on any one of my playlists. I have a vast array of music that I like but any kind of country ain't one.

These musicians and their fans all need to be euthanized like a rabid dog. For the good of music and humanity.
