I ordered a case last week for $226 shipped to the Baton Rouge area. Pretty good deal on magtech. BTW Palmetto has their shipping issues resolved apparently. I ordered on Monday and it was on my doorstep on Thursday.

I just ordered some and shot about 100 rounds recently. Seemed a little on the dirty side.

Seems like Magtech is the current bargain-priced brass 9mm ammo, I've seen it on several sites as their cheapest brand recently.

Not a terrible deal, but for range ammo I've shopped around and beat the price (including shipping).

Not long ago, I found somewhere online selling Aguila 124 gr FMJ for 8.99 a box, got a case for under $200.
Targetsportsusa.com will ship cases free, and rotate prices. I got a case of Blazer Brass 124 gr FMJ for $209.
Recently, there were boxes of Sellier and Bellot available at this price point.

If you casually shop around (and use one of the pricebots to trigger on a good price range), and you buy in bulk (case or more), you will do fine, and come across another great deal before you run out.

Earlier today I bought 50 rounds of the 124 Grain Magtechs for $10.95 on SGAmmo.
Figured they'd shoot more like the Golden Sabre 124 grains that I keep in it.

Yeah SG has 115 for 200 and 124 for 209.

SG also has good prices on Gold Dots, usually.

Think I'm going to order this: 1000 round case - 9mm Luger CCI Blazer Brass 115 grain FMJ ammo 5200 for $199 plus $16.00 shipping

Seems like a good price. What do you guys think?

-------------------------------------------------

Went to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Dept. range today. Shot 100 rounds with my Shield 9mm. First target I was shooting low and to the left. Second target I was still hitting mostly to the left, but the right height.

I really enjoyed it. Want to go back and get a little better. It was a clear, fairly cool day and it's a nice range. I may go back tomorrow or Friday.

PSA had a 9.99 deal on the Blazer Brass. I picked up 5 boxes. I wont get it again. Was VERY dirty. My slide looked like it was gold plated by the time I was done

winchester white box 115gr is the only way to go for range ammo. its a hot load (very close to +P) and shoots clean. its also the only bargain ammo that will cycle my UZI, so i buy and shoot alot of iot

Really? BB is one of my favorite range rounds. Much cleaner than WWB and most below that level, in my experience. Admittedly I haven't shot any in about a year, but BB used to be my go to.
