Let him go then. Good riddance. He has not earned a 330K/yr raise by any means in his one year at LSU. We will replace him and be better off.

Correct. Hopefully, LSU's defense improves next season without him, we do great, Miles gets to stay even longer, etc. And if the next guy is worse and we have another meh season, then it hopefully hastens Miles' departure. Pretty close to a win-win situation.
