Battle for the Pac-12

People said the Pac-12 would cannibalize itself before the year started.
It's turned out that way.
USC vs UCLA decides the South against Stanford.
Where would a 3 or 4 loss Pac-12 champ fair in the playoff picture considering the strength of the conference this year (most agree it was the best considering the cluster-crap football dump of the SEC East.)
If Michigan wins the Big10 and USC or UCLA win the Pac-12...you have hot teams outside of the playoff playing in the Rose Bowl.
Top 5 finish?

In the case of Michigan, sure.
UCLA would be riding a three game win streak, USC would be riding a two game win streak. That's not "hot."
And neither would end up in the top 5.
