I'm posting the spoilers on the second post so you can't hover over them, but the story is much better than Wings of Liberty or Heart of the Swarm by a lot, and ties together much of the original.

-Amon takes over the templar by corrupting the Khala
-Zeratul is killed by Artanis after the second mission after severing his connection to the Khala (nerve cords). Artanis takes his psi-blade.
-There are FOUR factions of Protoss that you can use, the Daelam (Templar), Nerazim (Dark Templar), Purifiers (Cybernetic) and TAL'DARIM (Vengeful)
-Alarak is probably my favorite character by far in the entire series...and he's such a DICK.
-Fenix lives...sort of
-Blizzard must love missions in which you have to hold out until an item reaches 100%, because you have about six of those missions...each much harder than the last
-What happens to Shakuras is just...wrong
-You get 2 Terran/Protoss team up and 2 Protoss/Zerg team up missions
-You don't get access to the final 3 missions until after you complete the main game. The factions you control in the epilogue are in the same order as Brood War
-Tassadar is not the one who spoke to Zeratul in Wings of Liberty
-As far as the ending...I'm still not sure I fully understand what happened to Jim and Sarah, but there's definite closure. (Think Return of the King type closure) Blizzard would really have to reach to find material for a sequel.

Is the game out yet?

I haven't played much sc2 in a while, but is it just me or is the difficulty a lot harder?

That's by design. The last Shakuras mission and last Aiur mission are just sadistic...and the epilogue missions are ridiculous.
The Moebius mission is an awesome concept (your base is on a moving platform that you control) and the last Slayn mission is several orders of magnitude of cool.

OK.
Just got it.
I'll beat the campaign then start doing work in 1v1.

I liked this campaign mode more than the previous installments.
I HATE microing a hero unit around like Gauntlet or other MMORPGs. I'd rather straight up RTS missions with a little nuance, and I got that.
I too liked the plat form mission.
I think the constant enemy waves and losing bases in the last one or two missions was really challenging.
Good thing I could load a checkpoint and attack a different way each time from the same spot.
NOW ON TO 1V1!
BEWARE MY BCS TELEPORTS!

After reading who plays Alarak ("Q" from Star Trek: The Next Generation), I like the character even more.
