My parents live pretty close to the MS State Deer Lab on the campus. I used to walk over there & see deer like that in their pens when I was a teenager. A guy from our neighborhood went over there & killed one of the research bucks with his bow. That pretty much ended going over there for a look. The sentence the guy was facing was worse than if he an murdered a person. Dumbass

My first archery 8 point came from a bachelor group. I was nervous as hell. I watched them feed toward me for at least 30 minutes. The first one I drew on saw my shadow and spooked the group. The biggest bodied one stopped broadside at 38 yards. Took me a while to calm down.
