When freezing shrimp is it better to peal or leave the shells on?

Imagine the shells might give a little more freezer burn protection.

Use some of the water out the cooler, freeze in plastic containers with shells on. Do not rinse

Headless
Shell on tail
Put in a plastic Ziploc container
Cover with 1/4" water
Put the cover on
Make sure you have 1/2" headspace between top of water and lid
Freeze them
