Anyone ever been to Half Moon Bay, BC?

Headed up there with the Mrs this morning. Staying in a nice resort but we'd like to know more about the area. Any recommendations or travel tips are appreciated. TIA

Its a lot like the area I live. It's on the "Sunshine Coast" though, so it has mild, sunnier weather.
Very relaxing place. Never stayed there, just visited by boat.
