Very cool video and man those are some fine knives Let me add that Bourdain has possibly the best job on the planet.

I can't imagine how much a knife made from a meteor would cost. I liked watching the show "Forged in Fire" that was a knife making competition. Making knives would be a cool hobby

Cool to watch. Just wish I had 6 grand to drop on a chef's knife. I saw where one went for 32 grand not too long ago.

Sounds more like a status symbol than a chefs knife.

I've been on his mailing list for awhile and he has a lottery from time to time but I've never even been picked to partake in the lottery.

Henkels makes a mass produced Kramer line that he designed from about $200- $500 which is about as close as I'd ever get to buying one.

I know how you feel. I have some knives on layaway at Walmart. They cut and slice like a Kramer. When it comes to kitchen knives, I'm a romantic.

They start at $6000 and go up from there. I understand that they're made from meteorites and unicorn horns and all, but there's NO WAY on earth that it could be remotely worth it.

I have one. It's fantastic. $300 on Amazon.
