Looking for a thermostat with remote sensor(s)

It may be a long shot that anyone here has something like this, but I am looking for a thermostat with 2 primary features:
1 - an android app so I can control it & program remotely (currently have a honeywell wifi thermostat and don't want to lose that functionality)
2 - I need a thermostat that can get the temperature from a location other than where my thermostat is wired.
In my bonus room, the thermostat is located on an exterior knee wall. The heat behind the wall is giving me false temp readings. There isn't another wall that it could have been mounted on. I could place a wireless thermostat on a shelf to get an accurate temp in the room. Programming the thermostat to operate at higher levels doesn't really work b/c in the morning or at night 80 degrees on the thermostat is close to actually 80 degrees in the room. However, at 4 pm, 80 on the thermostat might be 67 in the room.
I see ecobee and venstar has similar products but I have no experience with them. I tried calling honeywell, but I couldn't understand a word the customer service rep was trying to say. She gave me model numbers, but it doesn't look like they are compatible with my current thermostats.
edit: After reading a little more on the Ecobee3, it looks promising. The review on Tom's Hardware seems to give it a slight edge over the Nest mostly b/c of the remote sensors. LINK

My Honeywell thermostats are wink compatible although I prefer the native honeywell app. The device you linked doesn't show how or where to buy it unless i'm just missing something.

The Ecobee is the only smart thermostat that I have found with the remote sensors.
Since I am an Apple fanboi, I can't answer your Amdroid question.

Are you going to zone it with electric dampers?
If so what controller are you going to use.
Also i saw a video not long ago with pneumatic dampers. Interesting to say the least.

wink was the most 'apple like' out there and now they've shite the bed completely.

I don't have a need for that in the bonus room. I just need to have a sensor that isn't mounted on an exterior wall and isn't in the direct line of the air flow from the register.

Very much so. Honeywell makes some that can control each duct. I've also seen some that replace the register in each room so you can remotely control them or automate them. They are pretty slick but probably more than I need in my house.

the point of adding your thermostats to wink is that they can be triggered by other events and you can script them.
honeywell app just lets you turn them on and off and adjust the schedule.
(having said that, i still use the honeywell app 99% of the time myself)
