Draft of NBA schedule circulating among teams. Sources say 4-games-in-5-nights nearly eliminated in that draft version.

Had a few of those last season

Just wanted to pass along

Is that good because we want to run so much, or bad because we want to run other teams just as much?

Read the schedule is likely to be released on the 11th earlier. I want a Christmas game so bad.

forget all that talk.

Good for fans because there wont be 3-4 days in a row without a game.

It would be good in that case. We won't be running the same teams over those 4 games - just running ourselves.

It's good for older teams since that means more spaced out games and more rest. For teams like us with young legs we could deal with 4 games in 5 nights.

You don't have to be old to get worn out from 4 games in 5 days. This is absolutely good news for every team. We might have young legs, but those legs are also very injury prone. Great news.

It's good for Holiday and Gordon, for certain.

gotta figure GSW vs. someone. maybe cleveland?

typically either nets or knicks vs. someone to start the day off.

dallas v. clippers is almost a lock.

lakers somewhere probably. maybe against the spurs?

maybe they could do us vs. houston? that would be a pretty solid 8 est game.

It's great for us because of our injury history.

Why? I have no interest in spending Christmas watching a game. And there is no way I would want a home game on Christmas as I would not go to the Arena for a game on Christmas Day.

Why would you NOT want the team to have national exposure on Christmas?

Because I want to go to the Arena on Christmas. Means we have arrived on the national scene.

I'll call up Tom. Tell him you don't wanna go. Scratch the Christmas game.

More than likely Pels would be road team anyway.

Orlando 2008.

Was such a bummer on my Christmas morning. Dwight Howard kicked our poo in.

Per league source, tentative (not yet definite) NBA schedule in circulation has New Orleans playing the Heat on Christmas in Miami at noon.

This guy's profile says he works for the Miami Herald, so not just some rando on twitter.

It has always amazed me how many doctors show up on this board......

So you are saying someone has less of a chance to reinjure an ankle or knee, because of instead of playing 4 games in 5 nights, 3 games in 5 they will stay healthy.

Just hope everyone in the NBA stays healthy, nobody knows who is going to get hurt, or how, or when.
