What happened with Derek Edinburgh?

I was looking over the La.Tech roster and saw him listed. I remember him red shirting, but I don't remember him transferring.

I guess he just didn't develop as quickly as others. Transferred up to tech since Juluke is up there. Good kid though from everything I've heard.

Looked him up, looks like he's the backup LT there according to spring depth chart

He went to my highschool for 8th grade, and was the biggest kid in the grade. Real nice quiet dude. He switched schools after only one or two years, and was pretty shocked to learn he played football and was good too. I didn't even knew he played when he attended BM
