Options for watching Saints in Houston

It's pretty difficult to catch the Saints in Houston (unless they're playing the Sunday or Monday night games). Other than going to a bar, Justin's house, sitting on the Front Row, Sunday Ticket, etc., are there any reliable options? My mom and dad live in Louisiana and get the Saints games no problem. I remember hearing a while back about something that will let you watch your tv remotely, but I can't remember the name, etc. Is there anything that would let me watch their tv feed on Sunday afternoons?

A sling box if they let you put in on their tv would absolutely work.

What you want has nothing to so with Houston.

Christian's tailgate in the heights will have some saints fans. Lots of saints and LSU fans in Houston

I think this is what I had heard of. I need to look into it a bit more, but looks like this may do the trick.

I understand what you're trying to say and that it isn't specific just to Houston, but actually Houston does make it somewhat more difficult. My complaint is with the NFL's blackout rule (i.e. - if the Texas are playing at home on CBS and the Saints are playing on Fox at the same time, Fox is blacked out in the local team's home market). I'm looking for a way to be able to see the Saints from home when this happens (some of the options we see discussed in threads on game day are unreliable at best).

I live in Houston

Your best bet is to get an Xbox and watch it via the NFL Sunday ticket app at home

Does that require an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription? I could easily get that through Uverse, but that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid.

The key is they need a tv (really just the box) in the house they aren't using when you want to watch. It absolutely will change the channel on the tv you set it on in their house

You need a digital subscription. It's a lot cheaper. Want to say $100

Best way is to be social and catch it at the bar

Meh. I would almost always prefer to watch at home than a bar. I actually like being able to listen to and watch the game. You also don't have to deal with idiots who bitch/think they know everything.

Christian's tailgate plays the audio

Football is about family and friends IMO. Best part of it is the party

You're on the wrong board

You can still have friends and family over to watch the game. I was talking about people you don't know.

Well yea, that's why I suggested Sunday ticket digital. I wouldn't go watch a game at someone's house who's using Justin TV or slingbox

I wish I was strong enough
