Work on HWY30. I dont like to eat fast food more than a couple times a month, so recommend some good spots. Plate lunches, sandwiches, bbq, anything good that I can pick up and eat at the office.

Griffin Grill has a good burger. Not sure what else they have.

Plate lunches

The gas station on 73 / 30 (Chevron) offers good plate lunches.

Also, the gas station on 73 near I-10 (Mobil) serves very good plate lunches as well.

Went to the Chevron. Place was packed but moved quickly. Got the daily plate lunch which is pot roast and rice w/ 2 sides. A big delciious meal for $7. Tough to beat

That's a pretty limited area. Does Harvest Market do plate lunches?

Mission Street Cafe, DeAngelos, John Michaels Good Eats, Griffin Grill, Las Palmas...all near Dutchtown HS. T-Waynes Cajun Cookin on Hwy 621, Leaders Fried Chicken in Gonzales, Hwy 30 Truck Stop. Depends on how far you want to go.

Agreed. Best burger I've had in the AP and cheap.

Hope you enjoyed it. They serve some of the best fried chickens in town.

Yes, they change it up daily although it is the same week after week.
