Got my grandad's handmade gun cabinet

Moved into a house recently and desperately needed somewhere to put some of my guns. Dad brought this up for me to have. Need a safe to protect them eventually (plus it only holds 7), but this'll do for now. Think he made it in the early 50's.

Gun cabinets are definitely a thing of the past. I recently acquired my grandfathers cabinet also. He was a master carpenter and this was the last thing he ever built. It had a deer head etched in the glass, but my older brother broke it....

I picked up an old gun cabinet at a yard sale years ago...it is one of my very most prized possessions
