You have 6 regionals I think. Top 2 in each advance. Then top 6 from that go on to super 6

Six 6 teams regionals. Top 2 finishers in each regional advance to nationals. Top 6 at nationals advance to Super 6.

Will LSU make it to compete for NC?

Extremely likely

Wasn't this held in Alabama? They almost always have the home cooking going when it's held there.

Yep. We beat them in Tuscalooser a few weeks ago, so there was no way that the SEC was gonna let us finish ahead of them again.

6 regionals of 6 teams. Top 2 from each advance. That leaves 2 semifinal meets of 6 teams each. Top 3 from each of those make the super 6.

Regional sites are predetermined like a year in advance, not given to higher seeds.

Just an opinion but nothing requiring subjective judgements to determine an outcome is a true sport. It takes a remarkable amount of athleticism to be a gymnast but when the scoring system relies on human bias and human subjectivity there will always be opportunity for faulty results.

Look at the scandals in recent Olympics where biased scoring was part of the outcome. Look how boxing became a joke.

Perhaps one day a computer program will determine a perfect routine and then judge a participant by how much they diverge from perfection.

Bama won because LSU turned in their worst beam rotation all season. Florida would have won by a mile but they counted a fall and another major mistake on beam. The judging of Florida was incredibly biased. The judges went in with a clear winner already picked. It is obvious that it is SUPPOSED to be 1. Florida 2. LSU 3. Bama but Bama was consistent across all 4 events while LSU and Florida gave it away. I hope the judges will be better at Nationals.

Regional hosts are decided years in advance, LSU hosted last year. Bama gets to host every other year it seems. LSU goes 4-5 years between hosting. Figure that one out. Bama isn't hosting this year but they somehow lucked out and ended up paired up with Auburn who is hosting so they get to stay in-state.

It is what it is when you leave it up to judges.
The only thing that matters is getting to Super Six
as a coach you can't really complain about it because then they will really make your life difficult
