"If I don't go to Florida that weekend then I will go to Alabama," said Cowart. "I've already taken an official there, but I could do an unofficial. It isn't set up right now it kind of depends what goes on next week. The 30th I am planning to go to FSU, but I may switch that with LSU. Right now my plans are to visit Florida and FSU but that can change."

The kid said last week that his mind is already made up and he knows where he is going but that he is taking visits anyhow. So I wouldn't expend too much mental energy on hoping we get him if I were you.

No.... This is how you get the best players!!! I think Ogeron knows better than some Internet poster lol. Go get em coach O!!! At least have them thinking about LSU get em on a visit and that sureness may be swayed?? You never know unless you go after them!

Well of course we want Coach O to recruit him. 
I'm just saying don't go to Vegas and put your mortgage payment down on it. Because the kid specifically said HE KNOWS WHERE HE IS GOING, before LSU ever got into the picture. You ALWAYS throw the hail mary, you just don't make it the centerpiece of your strategy.

If he was legitimately a lost cause, Orgeron and the rest of LSU recruiting wouldn't have anything to do with him. These guys aren't idiots. I'm certain they've had conversations that make them think he can end up playing for LSU. These guys have a monetary and a time budget and every trip is a carefully calculated investment.

Yeah, and everyone knows that these prospects NEVER change their mind. And BTW, this wouldn't even be a decommit! I'm not saying where he is going but this falls darn sort of a commit and even short of "I'm solid with"...
Also, his statement which BTW I remember him saying also as you pointed out was before LSU was in the picture. Thus his statement + 50 cents will buy a cup of coffee. I'm NOT saying he wasn't sincere when he said...circumstances change.
