Did Braxton Miller's injury propel OSU to a championship?

Nothing against Braxton Miller, he is a good QB. I think that Cardale and Barett were better though. Barrett was definitely better. Tough to say with Cardale but his size and athleticism added a dimension that no team could handle.

I think if Braxton stays healthy, they beat VT but they lose to Bama in the playoffs. Crazy how sports work out sometimes

I doubt they would have beaten MSU and probably no way they beat Bama with Braxton.

Urban Meyer teams appear to play better in big games as an underdog. So although I think OSU would have been in contention with Braxton, this did allow the team to rally around JT and Jones.

You're insane. Braxton is just as good as a college qb and probably would not have lost at home to freaking Virginia tech! He was the two time big ten player of the year!

Jt Barrett was great but he had a 3int game at home in an early start against them. Braxton would have beaten that Virginia tech team. Urban praised how scary good Braxton had become in the off season up until his injury. He stated how incredible of a passer he had become heading into this season.

Osu would have been undefeated and probably had an even easier path to the championship game

Kosmo started a thread that OSU wouldn't have won the National Championship with Braxton last night and I agree.

Lol you doubt Ohio at would have beaten Michigan st with miller?

I've seen it all. Cardelle jones was slow as shite vs Bama and had a slow start. Jt Barrett and miller would have been even more elusive and more of an issue flr Bama. There were so many plays early on in that game where I said if only osu had miller or Barrett they'd have huge chunks of yards to run for

Barrett was basically the same type of QB that Miller was physically, and they still did just fine, and probably would have still succeeded with him in the playoffs.

Urban did right replacing his defensive coordinator.. He had an absolute legit D with a legit team. I don't see osu losing a single game this season had they had miller to start. They proved their dominance regardless of qb.

Back to back BIG 10 player of the year?

Buckeyes never would have had a chance with him.

I'm sure he's happy for his team mates but you have to think Braxton looks at this season and can't help but think this should have been my year. Injuries suck...
