What is the possibility that these DC possibilities see the catastrophe on offense and do not want to engage in that mess? Plus work for Les.

Apparently you don't realize that Chavis' defense was on the field less than all but 3 other FBS teams.

what are the possibilities that see the improvement this offense made this year and feel that LSU will be fine, maybe very good in the future. they are infinitely more qualified than you to judge that.

so I guess they will just have to take the 4 million dollars and find out.

This is a post of an Alabama fan, not an LSU fan.

Why don't you take your ball and go home Peanut.

Probably zero reason.
Especially considering lsu's ball control offense kept the defense off the field more than other teams.

Why would that be a problem?

I don't see working for Les a difficulty, provided you remember he is the Boss and always will be and you will always be his employee, pretty normal stuff to me, you see this in the military particularly.

You may or may not like or AGREE with the guy or gal but they have the rank and position, so you honor and respect that.

On the other hand:

If you truly believe LSU has some serious O problems do you want your defense system exposed to that kind of problem. What would you do if your reputation depended on it?

I think that is something Les has to sell a quality coordinator on is that the offense will open up and be effective.

Jesus that is getting old. Of course, LSU didn't have elite total yards stats. They do not run a wide open air raid offense. It is ball control offense.

They were 9th in the country in yards per play in among power 5, and tied for 11th in all of FBS, while being 105th in total plays. They were 114th in third downs with only 12.8 per game. They were 1st in the country in 3rd down conversion percentage. 3rd in yards gained per pass attempt. 3rd in yards per completion. 7th in team passer rating. 23rd in scoring offense. 9th in points per play. 15th in yards per point.

All of which is factoring ONLY FBS GAMES. Not games against FCS schools.

No. We didn't run the most plays. No where near the most. It's not our style. Thus, we won't have the most total yards. We were 105th in total plays run! But still finished 40th in yards per game. That offense was pretty fricking elite.

Yeah, what DC would want to coach on a team with a run first, ground and time possession control offense?

Idiot.
